Thursday July 3

bulletFamily road trip to Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We plan to caravan up back roads through the Badlands with a stop to hike up White Butte, the highest point in North Dakota.  The afternoon can be spent touring the Park or browsing around the historical town of Medora. Dinner will be at the Pitchfork Fondue. Caravan will meet at 9:00 AM at the Bowman Dakota Western Bank, South Main location.  Plan on  attending the Outdoor Musical that evening. Friday July 4

bulletLocal Area Caravan and Family History Tour organized by Jerry Palczewski and Ron Palczewski. Meet at Martha (Palczewski) Stuber's house at 1:00 PM.
bulletPotluck family picnic late afternoon/early evening at Bowman Haley Dam organized by Sheila Palczewski, Merleen Palczewski, Brenda Palczewski, and Bobbi Palczewski. Donations of $4 to $5/plate appreciated for catered chicken, sloppy Joes, rolls, and muffins on Sunday.  Please bring your own beverages and lawn chairs.

Family Dinner catered by High Plains Grill at 1:00 PM in the Scranton Community Center. Dinner organized by Sister Sharron Bauer,  Linda Meyer, and Cathy Palczewski. Menu and prices will be posted later. Please RSVP by June 1st. Power Point program of Palczewski Memories presented by Alex and Dianne Morley. Awards Ceremony.

Potluck family breakfast at Bowman Haley Dam organized by Merleen Palczewski, Sheila Palczewski, Bobbi Palczewski, and Brenda Palczewski.
 

T-Shirts

Reunion T-shirts are designed by Kim Jore.  T-shirts can be purchased through Dales Clothing in Bowman, ND at 701-523-3620 as of June 20th.  Cost is $12.72 per shirt which includes tax.  All shirts are ash grey in color. Dale's Clothing will be closed on Friday, July 4th.

Lodging

All five Dry Creek Cabins at the Bowman Haley Dam have been reserved for our Reunion. The cabins sleep up to six people and have electricity,  a refrigerator, microwave, water cooler, table and chairs. Our rate is $25/night for July 3 - 5. Cabins have been reserved for: Tim & Dorothy Gilmore, Stan Jr. & Jill, Chris & Meg Conlon, Dave & Lucy Barta, and Oistein & Pat Nyberg. The Bowman Haley Dam Marina sells food and beverages and has showers and restrooms.

Eight RV hookups have been reserved at the Bowman Hailey Dam. Electricity is at the site. Water and dump station are near the Marina. Contact Dianne Morley.

Camping around the dam is free.

Ten rooms at the North Winds Lodge, Bowman have been reserved until January 1, 2003. The Palczewski rate is single $38/night or double with two beds at $48/night. Ron and Sheila Palczewski highly recommend this motel. Contact the North Winds Lodge at 1-888-684-9463 or 701-523-5641.
